We are fortunate to have among us superheroes of kindness. Olivier is one of them. His attention to the other and his kindness are limitless. His flowery beard “Venetian blonde” yet provided struggles to hide the smile he gratifies us at every moment.

Olivier accompanies his vines, his wines and the people who have the chance to rub shoulders with him with the same kindness.

He is also a demanding, complex and lucid character who always wants to understand better to find the right gesture.

With the help of Anne, his wife, and Nicolas, he takes care of the small family estate in Dambach la Ville, a delicate and demanding terroir made of granite and its variations.

He vinifies in a narrow cellar where the wooden barrels welcome his pretty juices.

Olivier produces deep, complex, airy wines that need time to flourish, to reveal their complexity as if we needed time to tame them. Sometimes eye-catching in their youth, Olivier’s wines beautifully reveal their fruitiness after a few years of ageing.

Its Riesling is a true wine, peasant, sometimes rough in its first years but whose time reveals its background and all the strata of its construction.
