Charline et Ludovic Rohrer
In the mosaic of terroirs in the village of Mittelberheim, the Rohrer family has cultivated an unwavering love of the vine for nine generations. On their 8 hectares of vines, their approach has remained the same: precise, attentive and respectful of the living world.
Today, Ludovic is at the helm of the family estate, hand in hand with his sister Charline. They both benefit from the presence of André, their father, a gentle and caring personality.
Their estate is poetry in motion. On this marl-limestone soil, the grape varieties dance in the breezes and storms, sculpted by the craftsmanship of this close-knit family. Biodynamic viticulture here is not a label, it’s a way of life, a matter of course. The Rohrer family look after their plants and soils with care and thought.
The cellar is located beneath the family home, and the wines are patiently matured in old tuns.
